chloe between ch 10 and... now?

There was a floaty feeling that engulfed my body after the spanking.  I also felt littler, more dependent.  Izaak carried me to bed, placing me gently under the blanket and tucking me in with my teddy.  Curled up on my side (because my bottom was still sore!), muscles relaxed, feelings of warmth and family took over.  I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

But the next morning when Izaak rudely woke me up, he was grumpy and it fucked up my mood.  Then he reminded me that I'd have more spanking before work.

"Whaaaaat, noooooo!" I whined, eyes easily watering, tears streaming down my freckled cheeks.  "It still hurts from last night!"

Izaak didn't respond just snapped his fingers for me to hurry and get ready for our run.

I sulked the whole time I dressed — slamming drawers shut, kicking items out of the way, huffing and puffing.  When I pushed the screen back, Izaak looked unamused.

"Enough whining, kiddo," he warned.  "I will add more swats if necessary."

My eyes stayed fixed in a glare the entire jog to the park.  Also since it was earlier than normal, because he was making me run the extra laps as promised.

When the rest of the group arrived, we stretched again and I stayed close to Toby, wishing that I could just go home with him instead of Izaak.  He was clearly a softie and there's no way he could be as mean as Izaak was!

"How'd it go with Violet last night?"

"About as expected... embarrassing, painful, lots of tears shed."

chloe idk

[this really just started out as me trying to figure out where the plot was going. it's not really in story format.... but then.... idk what happened lol]

After the phone call [at the end of chapter 10], Izaak came back to the room, and I was definitely in little space.  I snuggled up with him lots, spoke more childish, and even let him tuck me into bed.

The next morning when I woke up, I was still in little mode a bit.  It was early so I was grumpy and I still felt sore from last night's spanking.  When he reminded me that I was going to get spanked again, it made me really upset... angry-sad.

Toby noticed it while we were running, so I told him what had happened.  He mentioned the spanking party idea, and I wanted anything that would get me out of a spanking (thinking that he was on my side of course).  I didn't go with Toby when he told the idea to Izaak, but I watched while I stretched and Izaak looked up at me kind of disappointed.

After their conversation, the vibe with Izaak felt off.  He seemed annoyed with me, but denied it.  Our train ride to work was awkward-ish.  Hopefully it would be better later.

At work, I arrived before Gabe and called Winters right away without thinking.  When a receptionist answered, I felt stupid — of course he wouldn't answer his own line.  I set up the appointment for next week and pushed thoughts away, and got to work like normal.

"Check your attitude, kiddo," he warned.  "I will add more swats if necessary."

My eyes stayed fixed in a glare the entire jog to the park.  Also since it was earlier than normal, because he was making me run the extra laps as promised.

"What's up with you two?" he asked after we took off on the jog.

toby/chloe

"How'd it go with Violet last night?"

"About as expected... embarrassing, painful, lots of tears shed."

"I can't imagine Violet crying... must've been an intense scene..."

"She certainly learned her lesson.  What about you with Izaak?"

My stomach dropped and cheeks flushed with embarrassment at Toby already assuming what had happened to me last night.

"Mad at him about something?"

"No, why do you ask?"

"There was a shift in your microexpressions."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"... It doesn't matter.  You're definitely mad but are trying to hide it."

My mouth dropped, somewhat offended, and a little scared at Toby's psychic abilities.  "Since when do you know more about me than I do?"

"Ohh... dodging the question, classic defense mechanism."

Eyes narrowed, I huffed.  "Okay, let's say I'm frustrated.  So what?  What are you going to do about it?"

Toby cocked an eyebrow.  "What happened?"

"Nothing."

He left me in an awkward silence for a moment as he analyzed my behavior.

blah

I flopped down into the grass, wincing at the pain I still felt from last night's spanking.  Sweat dripped from my dripping hair and my heart bounced, chest heaving as I tried to catch my breath.

"Oh, come on, it wasn't that bad," Izaak said.

His light humor was met with a glare from me.  I wasn't finding any of this funny or positive in the least, and the fact that he still planned to spank me after our workout and just made me run those two extra laps... ugh.  This day was off to a rough start.  I took a sip of water and shook my head, still catching my breath.

x-x-x-x

"Izaak seems good with you, but something about you towards him is off," Toby observed as he jogged aside me.  When I didn't respond, he continued.  "You stood with your back slightly more towards him, and folded your arms while he was speaking to the group."

With a side-eyed glare, I responded, "do you ever turn that off?"
