chloe between ch 10 and... now?

There was a floaty feeling that engulfed my body after the spanking.  I also felt littler, more dependent.  Izaak carried me to bed, placing me gently under the blanket and tucking me in with my teddy.  Curled up on my side (because my bottom was still sore!), muscles relaxed, feelings of warmth and family took over.  I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

But the next morning when Izaak rudely woke me up, he was grumpy and it fucked up my mood.  Then he reminded me that I'd have more spanking before work.

"Whaaaaat, noooooo!" I whined, eyes easily watering, tears streaming down my freckled cheeks.  "It still hurts from last night!"

Izaak didn't respond just snapped his fingers for me to hurry and get ready for our run.

I sulked the whole time I dressed — slamming drawers shut, kicking items out of the way, huffing and puffing.  When I pushed the screen back, Izaak looked unamused.

"Enough whining, kiddo," he warned.  "I will add more swats if necessary."

My eyes stayed fixed in a glare the entire jog to the park.  Also since it was earlier than normal, because he was making me run the extra laps as promised.

When the rest of the group arrived, we stretched again and I stayed close to Toby, wishing that I could just go home with him instead of Izaak.  He was clearly a softie and there's no way he could be as mean as Izaak was!

"How'd it go with Violet last night?"

"About as expected... embarrassing, painful, lots of tears shed."

"I can't imagine her crying... must've been an intense scene..."

"She certainly learned her lesson.  What about you with Izaak?"

My stomach dropped and cheeks flushed with embarrassment at Toby already assuming what had happened to me last night.

"Mad at him about something?"

"No, why do you ask?"

"There was a shift in your microexpressions."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"... It doesn't matter.  You're definitely mad but are trying to hide it."

My mouth dropped, somewhat offended, and a little scared at Toby's psychic abilities.  "Since when do you know more about me than I do?"

"Ohh... dodging the question, classic defense mechanism."

Eyes narrowed, I huffed.  "Okay, let's say I'm frustrated.  So what?  What are you going to do about it?"

Toby cocked an eyebrow.  "What happened?"

"Izaak wants to spank me again after we get back home, and I really think he shouldn't," I said, sticking my tongue out at the back of my roommate's head (because I wasn't brave enough to do it to his face).

"It doesn't seem fair to be spanked if you received punishment last night."

"Agreed!" I said with warm fuzzies at his empathy and validation.  He was talented enough to make me feel comfortable being fully authentic, guard down, without even realizing it.  "I'm annoyed about it, but there's still two weeks left of our stupid agreement."

"What if I could offer a solution?"

I laughed.  "Izaak changing his mind about this?  Yeah right."

"You may be surprised."  Toby went on to explain the concept for a spanko "get-together" that he and Molly had created.  I was intrigued and half-convinced that Molly and Toby would take my side about this whole argument.  But it's not like Izaak would agree anyway.  "Should I ask Izaak's opinion?"

"Sure go for it."

Toby scampered over to my roommate, standing about six inches shorter than him. He spoke with his hands and a grin so contagious that Izaak cracked a slight smile, the only one I'd seen him give all morning.  The flow of their conversation seemed light-hearted at first, bouncing back and forth with jabs or something.  But then the tone turned serious.  Izaak's face straightened and he nodded every so often, eyes intensely staring at his colleague.  Toby also looked serious (though not as scary as Izaak) but convincing.  The vibes I got from his body language reminded me of something, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

When Izaak glanced towards me, he seemed a bit disappointed, but then turned back to Toby and nodded, and my heart stopped.  He actually agreed?

That's when the anxiety started, which triggered the memory that I had to call Winters today.  Ugh.  Definitely wasn't looking forward to that.  I took twice the amount of time getting ready as normal, which usually would have driven Izaak crazy but he had budgeted the extra time in today because of the spanking that I was no longer getting.  When I emerged from the shower, he sat calmly on the sofa scrolling through his phone.
