I was caught doing something I shouldn't while in the military, and ended up owing somebody a favor. A few years later he (Peter) approached me with a request. He wanted me to keep an eye on his biological daughter whose adopted dad had just been jailed.
Chloe was in my psychology class and the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. Though the fact that she was 4 years younger and I'd just been through raising a son, I kind of always saw her more platonically, like a little sister. From the beginning I could see that she gets away with everything. It was infuriating at times watching her escape from consequences. But helped me understand why Peter wanted help keeping an eye on her.
That first spanking was when she kept flaking over a project we were doing together. She must have shown up 5 or 6 times without having done any work at all, until finally I got fed up and she dared me to spank her. I wasn't sure if she agreed that she deserved it or if she had a kinky streak (or both?), but she allowed me to put her over my knee and smack some sense into her.
It was the only time I actually punished her. Since I was supposedly helping out her father, I didn't want to cross lines unless absolutely necessary.
We became close. I'd just gotten out of a bad relationship, she had daddy issues (and no clue about her biological father I realized), so we got along well. She just needed some guidance.
But when I went to NYC we fell out of touch. I was busy with my new job in the FBI, so much that many of the messages she sent me went unanswered. When my life had finally settled down she seemed uninterested in chatting with me, so we only caught up over social media occasionally. It became awkward.
A few years later, Peter approached me asking for another favor, agreeing to be in my debt if I helped him with a case. He was looking for a hacker loosely linked to a few high-profile businessmen, who seemed to be working with a partner. Peter had no interest in getting the partner, and was overly zealous in his attention towards the hacker. Eventually I realized because the partner was Chloe. So I helped Peter get enough tangible evidence to arrest the hacker.
Less than a week passed when Chloe called me seeking a new life. Even though she hadn't told me what she'd been going through, I had a good idea, and felt sorry for her. I'd learned a lot about her life over the years to realize that it hadn't been easy. And her lack of self-discipline just made it more of a challenge. So when she called, it was already on my mind that she would need a more hands-on approach to getting back on track.
I gave her a month to figure it out on her own, and didn't like what I saw. Laziness radiated from her end of the apartment. Half of the time I didn't see her emerge from her bed, the other half she came in drunk or high, pretending to be sober. She lied that she was applying for jobs and avoided me at all costs.
When I got sick of it, I decided to propose a plan: now she lives by my rules for a month. Sticking to a routine, exercise, healthier diet, a job that she may not like.
