random future scene

[[not sure where I got this idea from... i think i was just thinking about what kind of scene in a restaurant would warrant being spanked in the car 😈... idk about this scene but i'm rusty and all the practice is good 😂]]

Gabe at the end of the table with that smug look on his face, I was just fucking sick of it by this point. All fucking week, bossing everyone around, acting like he's the king of the world, like we all have to listen to him. God. Give me Izaak any day.

"Earth to Riley. Finish your dinner." Ugh, his tone grated at my nerves.

"It's disgusting, I don't want anymore." For good measure, I pushed the plate aside, then went immediately back to scrolling through reddit posts about self-sustainable housing. Clearly I was ready to move off to a forest by myself. There was just too much peopling required in NYC.

"She acts like she can't hear me," Gabe complained in his "charming" way. Ugh. Spare me.

"I can hear you just fine. I'm ignoring you." I finally looked up to see his fighting face on. Vic sat perched beside him, ready to jump in and protect Molly from our spat. And Toby, beside me, looked as if he had predicted this blow up for days. "I'm tired of this fucking greasy shit. It's not my fault these hicks don't know how to incorporate healthy vegetable into their lives."

"It's fine," Molly intervened, looking for the server to I guess ask them to take away my plate.

"No, it's not fine. Riley, you're finishing your meal, period. Get to it."

"Fuck you, no! You're not the boss of me."

I saw the look in his eyes... the you sound just like Violet look. Grrrrr. I am NOT the same as her, but... sometimes we just have the same way of dealing with things. Before Gabe could order me, AGAIN, to finish my meal, I shoved it off the table... Yes. I did. Like a cat. Just... KERPLUNK!! Um... which also went like... CRASH!!!!! SHATTER!!!!! and then complete SILENCE. I felt everyone's eyes on me. Heard the faint ding of a bell signaling that someone's order was up. The silence felt like an eternity... but was probably just a few seconds.

Gabe abruptly stood as the server approached with a broom and dustpan, all chirpy and apologetic even though she didn't do anything.

"Let's go. Now." He said it under his breath, but the sharpness made me shiver. It wasn't a request... and I'm not one to give into demands but as soon as I saw his narrowed eyes, I knew we were in a state that might not frown upon him putting the bratty tantruming teen over his knee and spanking her right there in front of everyone. And even if he probably wouldn't actually do that... I wasn't feeling brave enough to take the risk. So I pushed the chair out from behind me and let my heart thud against my ribcage as I followed him out of the diner.
