chloe after gabe knows

I arrived to the office still feelings the emotional effects of the video Andy had posted online.  I still shuttered when I thought about my most intimate parts being exposed online, along with my face for everyone to see me.  Not only that, but I was also slightly worried about Violet.  Izaak had sent me to bed and sleep overtook my body before he'd come back home from checking on her.  All he'd told me during our morning routine was that he took her home and she seemed to be fine.

But when I arrived a couple of minutes late, Violet was nowhere to be found.  Which made my heart thump a little louder than normal.

I just want all this to be over.

It had been the most stressful few weeks of my life, mixed with also the best few weeks of my life.  Having such a tight-knit family was something I'd always dreamt about, not even sure it could be possible.  The warm fuzzies I'd experienced with everyone... Izaak taking care of me and getting me into a good routine again, Molly's loving kindness, Violet's humor and loyalty, Toby's way of reading me so clearly, and even Gabe's structure and protectiveness disguised as a harsh mentor.  Weeks of family meetings played through my mind... the first one when I nervously took my first bare bottom spanking in front of everyone, only to sit on Izaak's lap afterward with his arms around me.  Then when Violet sicked Molly's cat on Vanessa, providing some sort of comic relief for our usually serious vibe.  Getting caned for the first time, and experiencing Gabe as a spanker for the first time.  The intensity of the next week when Violet argued with everyone and I realized that she knew my secret... contrasted with the lighthearted paddling she gave Izaak (never thought I'd see the day he submitted to a spanking!).  And last week having the attention all on Molly, which was heart wrenching and more difficult than if it had been me in the hot seat.

As I scrolled through emails, I silently wondered what this evening's meeting would look like.  Would Toby be there?  He hadn't responded to anyone's messages since the fiasco with Molly.  Would Gabe and Izaak bring up me passing out last Friday?  Or would it be all about Violet again?  She had a way of getting all eyes on her.

My mind wandered to thoughts of her getting punished in front of everyone again, visualizing the implement bucket and what might be used, when I felt a sudden dark energy enter the room.  Looking up, I saw where it radiated from:  Gabe's eyes were narrowed at me and he said in the sternest voice ever, "My office.  Now."

He didn't wait for me, just turned and went back, leaving the door open for me.

I silently wondered what I had fucked up this time.  Did I forget to schedule an important appointment?  Had I screwed up a report for him?

Gulping, I followed after him to his office.  My arms shook as I closed the door, noticing a heavy weight in my tummy warning me of what was to come.

Gabe was standing beside his desk, staring out the window when I presented myself between the two chairs that sat across from his desk.  It was deathly silent... I could only hear the ticking of the clock and faint sounds of Manhattan traffic below.  And Gabe's angry breathing, like he was having trouble articulating his thoughts, which was very unlike him.

I wanted to cough and make my presence known, but was too scared.  He knew I was there anyway.  And I wasn't sure that I was ready to hear what he had to say...

Unfortunately, I was about to find out...

"When did you plan on telling me your involvement with one of my clients?"  Gabe turned sharply, now staring me in the eyes with such intensity I wanted to cower.  My body understood his nonverbal communication quicker than his words.  But once the words registered...

"I... w-what?" I stammered.  My throat was dry, closing up, and I was staring to feel lightheaded again, this time not from the lack of eating.

"You heard me."  He took a step towards me, hands on his hips, waiting for my response.  But when I stayed silent, mouth stupidly dropped open, he shook his head, answering for me.  "You weren't going to tell me, right?"

I wanted to say I don't know what you're talking about, but with my heart in my throat, I couldn't say a damn thing.

"You sat out there for weeks lying straight to my face, Chloe.  We let you into our family, took care of you when you were at your lowest, and this is how you fucking repay me?"

His stern tone and use of the f-bomb made tears well in my eyes.  "I-I'm sorry..."

"No you're not.  You're upset you got caught, and you're trying to soften the blow, right?"  He took another step forward, now towering over me.  "It's too late for your apologies."

I didn't know what else to say though.

After a few moments of excruciating silence, he finally asked, "Does Izaak know?"

I shook my head furiously, feeling the pit in my stomach grow.

"He will tonight.  I suggest you tell him before I do."  Then he stepped away, going back to his desk.  "Go home.  I will see you tonight at the family meeting.  Be prepared."
